The distorted guitars balance out the waltzy rhythm that the track is built upon, with Karter’s voice building in intensity before it reaches the syllabically dense, catchy chorus. Of the track, Karter states “in April 2018 my ex and I broke up. Everywhere I went I was reminded of him. "There's a chair, HE sits on chairs". Was also dealing with a death and some personal stuff.
